Texas state Senator Wendy Davis has reaped nearly $1 million in political donations since she staged a nearly 11-hour filibuster that ultimately failed to stop the Texas legislature approving stringent new restrictions on abortion in the state. President Vladimir Putin said he wanted Edward Snowden to leave after three weeks holed up at a Moscow airport, but also signaled that the former U.S. spy agency contractor was moving towards meeting Russia's asylum conditions. Under a condition of anonymity, a commander said "When our Muslim brothers sought our help, we sent hundreds of fighters to fight alongside their Arab friends. We will soon issue videos of our fighters winning goods and properties of the enemy in Syria,? he added.
