A solar-powered plane landed at Kennedy Airport in New York City this past weekend after completing a historic trip that started in May from Los Angeles. The plane, "Solar Impulse," is powered by rays from the sun. A tear was discovered on the plane, forcing the flight to land earlier than expected. As a result, the pilot did not get to fly by the Statue of Liberty.
