Four months after the launch of Facebook Home, which aimed to turn every Android phone into the long-rumored Facebook Phone, the company is starting to bring certain Home features into their primary app with an update. The first feature to make the jump to the main app is Home's Cover Feed, which lets you replace Android's default lockscreen with one that brings in photos and posts from your Facebook news feed. After months of waiting, leaked details, and loads of speculation, the Moto X has been unveiled. And the new smartphone will be on all four wireless carriers later this month for $199 with a two-year contract. Apple has confirmed the recent purchase of Passif, a Silicon Valley-based low-energy chipmaker. The company works on communication chips that practically sip power, and offer up radio communication using tech like Bluetooth Low Energy.
