U.S. Markets Open Higher on Economic Data, June Car Sales

U.S. Stocks are moving higher Tuesday as they head into the beginning of the second half of the year. Investors will get a further chance to assess the economy with fresh economic data. Updates on the ISM manufacturing and Construction Spending are out at 10 am eastern. Both are expected to please investors showing the economy is on the right track. Auto sales will also roll out throughout today's session moving shares of American Automakers like Ford and GM. Analysts are expecting strong sales. But it's GM that will be in particular focus after recalling more vehicles Monday. TheStreet's Susannah Lee reports from Wall Street.
