U.S. regulators and law enforcement agencies are expected to meet with an advocacy group for Bitcoin, a digital currency that has been under fire for its purported role in facilitating anonymous money transfers and supporting online purchases of illegal street drugs. Two men have been charged by New York prosecutors with stealing secret computer code from a high-frequency trading firm in an effort to start their own business. Missouri state Rep. Jeremy LaFaver was arrested on suspicion of possessing up to 35 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol's arrest report cited by PoliticsMo, LaFaver was pulled over for failing to respond to an earlier charge that he had operated his vehicle with expired license tags.
