Disney’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ zoomed past expectations last weekend. The Marvel studios cosmic comic-book adaptation took in $94 million in North American theaters while analysts projected Guardians to earn between $60 and $75 million at the box office. Meanwhile, Walmart revealed this week it is changing its website to personalize the online shopping experience to better compete with rival Amazon. Walmart’s new and improved site will show shoppers more products they like based on previous purchases. Finally, Gannett is buying the shares of Cars.com it doesn't already own for $1.8 billion. Gannett owned 27% of the Web site, and the deal values the business at about $2.5 billion.
