WASHINGTON Breaking News: Obama Picks Restructuring Expert to Take Over IRS

President Barack Obama has chosen retired corporate and government official John Koskinen to take over an Internal Revenue Service under fire for its screening of political groups. Obama said, Koskinen is "an expert at turning around institutions in need of reform." A Chinese sculptor has removed a disputed inscription from the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial statue that he designed on the National Mall and said that he is working on a new finish for the side of the artwork. The disputed inscription was a paraphrase from King's "Drum Major" speech. It read, "I was a drum major for justice, peace and righteousness." Senator Charles Schumer urged President Barack Obama to retaliate against Moscow for granting asylum to accused national security leaker Edward Snowden by recommending that the upcoming G20 economic summit be moved outside of Russia.
