WASHINGTON Breaking News: Obama Says Bill Must Resolve Immigrants' Status

President Barack Obama is suggesting he would not sign an immigration bill without a pathway to citizenship for the estimated 11 million people living in the country illegally. The White House said on Tuesday that former U.S. spy agency contractor Edward Snowden, who applied for temporary asylum in Russia should be expelled and returned to the United States to face trial on espionage charges. The Senate voted to move toward confirmation of Richard Cordray as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, ending a months-long standoff on the issue.
