UBS: It's Harder to Leave, But You're Earning More

UBS Wealth Management Americas is making good on its plan to pay its existing advisors more while cutting back on recruiting. The business paid its advisors $3.310 billion last year, a 13% increase from 2016. Meanwhile, the wirehouse spent $808 million on recruiting new advisors in 2017, nearly 7% less than the prior year.
