Rollins Foundation pledges $65M gift to Emory

The O. Wayne Rollins Foundation is making another major contribution to Emory University, pledging $65 million toward construction of a third Rollins School of Public Health building on the Emory campus. The facility is to be named the R. Randall Rollins Building, located adjacent to the existing School of Public Health facilities, and groundbreaking is tentatively set for 2020.  Emory says the new building will increase the number of classrooms and faculty offices and will include state-of-the-art conferencing and distance learning space. “The Rollins family continues to demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to the health of global communities,” said Claire E. Sterk, president of Emory University, in a news release.
