Premier Agent, a program in which real estate agents pay up to have their names, faces and contact information posted alongside listings of other agents, might change in a way that could hurt the program and Zillow (Z) in New York State. There is no official ruling to this effect — yet — but the Department of State has shared with Zillow its intention to do this. A Zillow Group spokesperson says, "The Premier Agent advertising program is legal, and the NY DOS has given no indication that the program will be deemed illegal."
