Unifi board member resigns, won't be replaced

A board member of Unifi Inc. (NYSE: UFI) has resigned, another high-profile departure for the Greensboro-based textile company. Paul R. Charron left the board July 15, the company disclosed in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Charron, a management consultant since 2007, is the former chairman and CEO of Liz Claiborne Inc., a global fashion company.
