Research Triangle Park’s largest employer, IBM, is suing a former New York-based executive and UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, trying to prevent her from taking a role at one of its biggest competitors: Microsoft. McIntyre, who led IBM’s diversity initiatives, is being accused in the federal suit of violating a one-year noncompete agreement.
