[$$] Bankrupt Texas Car Dealership Chain Looks for Buyers

Reagor Dykes Auto Group officials asked Judge Robert Jones on Wednesday to set a Nov. 16 bid deadline for potential buyers that are interested in the bankrupt dealerships, which employ about 300 people. The car seller hasn’t filed a list of operations that aren’t in bankruptcy and not on the auction block to U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Lubbock, Texas. The sale would remove ownership stakes in the bankrupt dealerships held by founders Bart Reagor and Rick Dykes, the son of longtime Texas Tech coach William “Spike” Dykes.
