Aramark wins contract, after losing another, in Atlanta

Philadelphia food service giant Aramark won new business in Atlanta, offsetting a recent loss there. Aramark this month lost a contract with Atlanta Public Schools, eliminating 416 jobs, effective June 30. Aramark (NYSE: ARMK) received a one-year contract with 14 extension options of one year each for a possible total of 15 years, Georgia Tech spokesman Lance Wallace told the Philadelphia Business Journal.
