An investment arm of Wichita-based Koch Industries Inc. has put $100 million behind a company working on a new way to extract lithium. Koch Strategic Platforms (KSP) will make the investment in Canada-based Standard Lithium through a direct private placement in the company valued at more than 13.4 million shares.
