Johnson Controls has laid off 4,300 employees since 2016, could layoff another 5,000

In its quarterly regulatory filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission published Thursday, the company reported that its fiscal restructuring plans for 2016, 2017 and 2018 included workforce reductions of 9,200 employees, and as of June 30, 4,300 of those employees "have been separated from the company."
