When Jeremiah Chapman was a college student at University of Louisville, he'd take old oil from campus restaurants and turn it into biodiesel, which was used for the university's shuttle service. “I wanted to find a better way," said Chapman, who founded Louisville-based startup FreshFry LLC in 2014. The last time we heard from FreshFry was 2017, when the startup entered a manufacturing agreement with Louisville’s Whip Mix Corp. Chapman said the company then increased its production from 200 to 16,000 FreshFry pods per month.
