American Water's New Jersey arm completed its acquisition of Mount Ephraim's wastewater system, the Camden-based company announced Tuesday. The $1.4 million deal to purchase the sewer was first announced in January and follows American Water's 2005 acquisition of Mount Ephraim's water system. “As Mount Ephraim’s water company for more than a decade and a water provider to the area for over 90 years, we are pleased to expand our relationship with residents as their sewer service provider," Cheryl Norton, president of New Jersey American Water, said in a statement.
