Fidelity cuts General Electric stake by nearly a quarter

Fidelity Investments cut its substantial holdings in General Electric Co. by 24 percent from July to September, according to a securities filing on Monday. The Boston-based asset manager revealed its reduced stake in GE (GE) in a quarterly filing detailing its stock holdings. It owned 1.1 percent of the company’s outstanding shares as of Sept. 30, according to Thomson Reuters.
