Urban Outfitters, Coachella settle trademark lawsuit: Report

A legal clash between the multi-day music fest Coachella and Philadelphia-based Urban Outfitters has reportedly come to a close. Coachella organizers claimed in a trademark lawsuit that Urban Outfitters tried to profit off the festival by aligning itself with the event through marketing efforts. After several months of back-and-forth – including an attempt by parent company Urban Outfitters to distance itself from its own Free People subsidiary, the litigation has reportedly come to an end.
