Spirit AeroSystems Inc. on Friday celebrated a milestone on one of its most important defense and wide-body aircraft programs. The local supplier held an event at its southeast Wichita facilities to commemorate the 100th delivery on the KC-46A Pegasus tanker program. Spirit (NYSE: SPR) builds the forward fuselage section on the 767 wide-body, which its customer, the Boeing Co., uses as the platform aircraft for the new tanker for the U.S. Air Force.
