Increasingly, more Americas closing in on retirement expect to work during their "Golden Years". According to Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America's 2022 Retirement Risk Readiness Study, 59% of near-retirees say they are planning to work past the current Social Security retirement age; yet only 11% of current retirees actually did so.
