Last week (ended April 27), Schlumberger (SLB) returned -0.2%. It underperformed the Energy Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLE), which tracks an index of US energy companies and rose 0.7%, and the VanEck Vectors Oil Services ETF (OIH), which tracks an index of 25 oilfield equipment and service companies and rose 1.4%. SLB also underperformed the SPDR S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which was flat during the week. SLB accounts for 0.42% of SPY.
