A private equity arm of Pittsburgh’s biggest bank has acquired a 101-year-old Robinson Township based manufacturer of lab equipment and specialty chemicals in only its second local transaction to date. PNC Riverarch Capital teamed with SilverMill LLC, a Bonita Springs, Florida-based investment firm, to purchase Burrell Reagents. “We’re always eager to find opportunities to invest in our backyard,” said Rob Dolan, a PNC Riverarch principal.
