Lockheed Martin to build another Orlando test facility

Matthew Richardson

Lockheed Martin Corp.'s Missiles & Fire Control division in Orlando plans to add another building to its southwest campus. The Bethesda, Maryland-based defense giant filed plans on April 12 with the state for a project called EMI Test facility. For Lockheed Martin — a company that builds defense and supportive weapons and gear for military — such technology would prove useful for the U.S. Department of Defense.
