Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway loads up on more Apple shares

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. loaded up on more Apple Inc. shares at the end of the first quarter, sold out of International Business Machines Corp. shares, and pared down its investments in General Motors Co. , according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission late Tuesday. Berkshire reported owning more than $40 billion worth of Apple shares, and no stake on IBM after reporting owning $314 million worth of shares in the previous quarter. Buffett told CNBC earlier this month his conglomerate had bought "more Apple than anything else," calling Apple "an unbelievable company." Shares of Apple were flat in late trading after ending the regular session down 0.9%.
