HP sticks with successful strategy in new lineup of premium PCs

HP (HPQ)  continued that push on Monday, when it announced a number of new premium models across its consumer and commercial segments. While the x2 1013 doesn’t look as cool as an iPad Pro, its detachable keyboard has considerable “travel,” meaning you can feel yourself push the keys down. Mike Nash, HP’s head of portfolio strategy, told MarketWatch that before HP began emphasizing premium models on the corporate side, companies didn’t see much distinction between HP’s two categories of computers and would end up buying consumer models for their employees.
