Christopher Brown founded Thermal Kinetics Engineering in 1999 and grew it to a 14-person engineering firm based in Amherst. Now the company has a new owner after RCM Technologies, a New Jersey-based public company, purchased Brown's company for $1.765 million plus earnout payments as long as income thresholds are met. The sellers were advised by Williamsville-based Paramax Corp. Kevin Miller, CFO of RCM Technologies, said the plan is to grow the customer base and workforce in Buffalo.
