A West Coast company that designs and manufactures trucks under several major labels has its eyes on Jefferson Riverport International for a massive new operation. Bellevue, Wash.-based Paccar Inc. (NASDAQ: PCAR) filed a development plan with Louisville Metro Government this week to build nearly 700,000 square feet of office and warehouse space on 40 acres at 6501 Lewis Lane, off Dixie Highway in Southwest Louisville. According to the filing, the company plans to build a 440,000-square-food warehouse operation that will have 10,000 square feet of office space, loading docks and truck-maneuvering areas.
