KLA-Tencor Corp. shares ticked higher in the extended session Monday after the semiconductor-equipment maker topped Wall Street expectations. KLA-Tencor shares rose 1.1% after hours, following a 3% decline to close the regular session at $124.61. The company reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $192.7 million, or $1.23 a share, compared with $306.9 million, or $1.95 a share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings were $1.80 a share. Revenue rose to $1.1 billion from $1.02 billion in the year-ago quarter. Analysts surveyed by FactSet had forecast earnings of $1.65 a share on revenue of $1.07 billion.
