HCA Healthcare Inc. has plans for another freestanding emergency department in Central Florida. The Nashville, Tennessee-based (NYSE: HCA) health system filed plans with the city of Orlando for a 10,860-square-foot, one-story freestanding ER at 5597 Lee Vista Blvd. HCA Healthcare has a 10-year ground lease for the 1.5-acre parcel behind the existing Wawa, with the option to extend to up to 50 years. The project is in the early planning stages and more details will be revealed later in the process, HCA Healthcare spokesman Trip Farmer told Orlando Business Journal.
