Two pillars of the North Texas defense community teamed up to create a system that gives pilots 360-degree views during flight. The Pilotage Distributed Aperture Sensor, PDAS, system made by Lockheed Martin Corp. (NYSE: LMT) took flight for the first time aboard a V-280 tiltrotor aircraft made by Bell Flight, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) business, in a series of test flights over Fort Worth.
