Churchill Downs Inc.’s Derby City Gaming is doing so well that the company is adding 100 more machines to the Louisville facility next month. Churchill Downs (Nasdaq: CHDN) CEO Bill Carstanjen said the additional historical race wagering machines will be installed by May and indicated the property has proven financially successful. The slot-like machines are patterned off previously run horse races and are legal under Kentucky law, unlike actual slot machines.
