Oregon Health Authority receives 19 applications to run Medicaid organizations

The Oregon Health Authority received 19 applications for Medicaid contracts, four more than currently exist. At $5 billion a year in state funds, they represent the largest procurement in Oregon’s history. Four of the 19 coordinated care organization applications are from PacificSource Community Solutions, which is looking to expand its territory from just Central Oregon and the Columbia River Gorge.
