One of six downtown Dallas towers on the market just sold for a record sum. The 25-story office building 1900 Pearl was purchased by the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio for about $700 per square foot or $180 million, which is possibly the most per square foot an office building has sold for in Texas, according to a report from the Dallas Morning News. The year-old Dallas Arts’ District building, which was developed by Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. and designed by HKS Inc., which is also based in Dallas.
