General Motors adds another woman to its board of directors, matching number of male directors

General Motors Co. has added another woman to its board of directors, an addition that provides for an equal number of male and female directors. Jami Miscik, currently the chief executive officer and vice chair of Kissinger Associates and, according to GM, an "expert in global security and intelligence" has been elected to the company's the board. The board of GM (NYSE: GM) now consists of six women (company CEO Mary Barra, Linda Gooden, Jane Mendillo, Patricia Russo, Carol Stephenson and Miscik) as well as six men (Joseph Jimenez, Michael Mullen, James Mulva, Thomas Schoewe, Theodore Solso, and Devin Wenig) “Jami is a seasoned leader with experience in assessing the geopolitical and macroeconomic climate.
