Rumors circulated last summer that JetBlue founder David Neeleman was expected to launch a new airline in the U.S. In August, he registered a new aviation business to be based in Connecticut, but later said he wasn't looking to create a new company, explaining that he was "helping out a couple of friends." He has reportedly changed his mind. According to trade publication Airline Weekly, Neeleman is looking to form a low-cost service called Moxy Airlines. The company is expected to officially commence in 2020, and will be aimed at smaller secondary airports, such as New York Stewart International Airport.
