The Cannabis Sector Continued to Rally this Morning ## Cannabis stocks move higher The cannabis sector continued to rally this morning with the Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences ETF (HMMJ) trading nearly 2.7% higher at around noon. Other gainers during the day include HEXO (HEXO), which was up nearly 5.9% at noon today. HEXO has been on the rise since the beginning of this year with its announcement of its being listed in the United States. Canopy Growth (WEED)(CGC) was also trading higher. The stock rose nearly 4% while Cronos Group (CRON) gained a decent 2.9% in the early morning session on January 7. We also saw positive movements in other cannabis stocks, including Aphria (APHA), which was up 2.8%. Tilray (TLRY) was also faring well this morning with a 57 basis point gain at around noon.
