Oil is rallying, but not all energy stocks are in good enough standing to benefit from its climb. U.S. sanctions on Venezuelan crude and production cuts by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries has led to a tighter supply in global oil market, lifting crude price up since late last year. The Brent crude price has risen 33.5% year to date, while the West Texas Intermediate price has surged 30.8%.
