[$$] Delta Air Shares Jump 1.9% Premarket After Earnings Beat Estimates

Delta Air Lines Inc. said Thursday it had net income of $1.025 billion, or $1.47 a share, in the second quarter, down from $1.19 billion, or $1.62 a share, in the year-earlier period. “With an expected $2 billion higher fuel bill for 2018, we are now forecasting our full-year earnings to be $5.35 to $5.70 per share,” Chief Executive Ed Bastian said in a statement.
