15 New Beauty Products Models Are Wearing At Fashion Week

Megan Decker

Even if you're not 100% certain of the correct pronunciation of Proenza Schouler (you're not alone) you can still glean inspiration from New York Fashion Week. The runways serve as a preview of the newest fashion, this we know, but it's also where designers reveal the coolest new beauty products you're about to see everywhere. That means you can get a first glimpse at the more attainable lipsticks and eyeshadows that will be hitting shelves this fall — no matter your fashion IQ.

From Lancôme and MAC to Nars and Stila, all the big names in beauty debuted surprise launches on the faces of models like Kaia Gerber at fashion week this season. Fun fact: They're way more affordable than any oversized handbag you drooled over as it floated down the runway. Ahead, get your first look at all the new beauty products spotted at NYFW thus far.

There is a lot of product out there — some would say too much. At Refinery29, we’re here to help you navigate this overwhelming world of stuff. To mirror the wearability of its spring collection — comprised of denim midi-dresses and oversized blazers — designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough worked with makeup artist Lisa Eldridge ahead of the presentation to launch a makeup line for Lancôme, which includes this stunning 10-shade eyeshadow palette.

Also included in the line is this two-sided lip pencil, which holds a cream lip stain on one end and a matching gloss on the other.

Proenza Schouler x Lancome Lip Kajal, $24, available at Lancome.

This eyeliner might look like a medieval torture device, but a pointy tip on the chubby pencil actually makes for easy and precise application.

If you're already a fan of Lancôme's lipstick formulas, you'll love the four newest shades from the fashion collab: a satin red, deep beige, bright orange, and rich burgundy.

Out of all the newness, we're probably most excited about the newest Juicy Shaker — an adorable, pocket-sized, oil lip stain with a soft cushion tip. It now comes in three limited-edition shades of bold purple, punchy orange, and a rosy pink.

Tibi's glitter brows may have stolen the (runway) show, but the rusty lip color was nothing to overlook. It came courtesy of Bobbi Brown's newest matte lipstick shade called Burnt Cherry.

Designer Brandon Maxwell teamed up with MAC to release a five-piece makeup collection inspired by all things Texas. It was debuted on the faces of Gigi Hadid and Joan Small's at the designer's runway show at NYFW and is incredibly wearable. Pro tip: The blush pink brushed across Gigi's lids came courtesy of the new desert-inspired shadow palette.

With a name like Wild Pony there's no denying that the line's a love letter to the lone star state.

Badgley Mischka

For Badgley Mischka 's 30th anniversary show, lead makeup artist Carly Giglio partnered with Stila Cosmetics to create a whimsical, Alice in Wonderland -inspired beauty look. The standout product? The beloved glittery liquid formula in a soft, shimmery lavender shade, which will be launching in stores this coming January.

You've heard the reviews — yes, Nars Climax mascara is pretty damn good — now you can see it in action on the models walking the Rodarte runway.

NARS Climax Mascara, $24, available at NARS

For the stunning eyeshadow look, Rodarte's lead makeup artist, James Kaliardos, prepped the models' lids with this new tinted eyeshadow primer to keep the bright blue powder pigments bright.

NARS Tinted Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, $26, available at NARS

Speaking of eyeshadow, Nars recently reformulated its single- and duo-shadow compact formulas, and the Rodarte runway models gave us the first look at its intense color payoff.

NARS Single Eyeshadow, $19, available at NARS

On par with the killer makeup was the hair at Rodarte. It was the epitome of high drama elegance, with pounds of fresh flowers woven through the models' hair. To give body and rich texture to their 'dos, lead hairstylist Odile Gilbert used Sulta's newest collection of hot tools, including its titanium curling wands. "This tool is so easy to work with," Gilbert said. "I don't typically use clip-less tools, but this delivers perfect waves that last."

Sultra 1.5" Titanium Curling Wands, $149, launching on September 17 at Sultra.
