175 countries sign Paris climate deal: UN

United Nations (United States) (AFP) - A total of 175 countries on Friday signed the Paris climate agreement at the United Nations, a record for a one-day signing of an international accord, the UN said.

Fifteen countries, mostly small-island states, have already ratified the agreement on combatting global warming.
