Two Appalachian State players and a former player have been arrested in connection with the stabbing of linebacker Teh’Ron Fuller.

Per the Greensboro News and Record, a man was charged for felonious assault regarding Fuller’s stabbing. But three people were charged Friday with misdemeanors in connection to the altercation that precipitated the stabbing.

Boone Police have charged Ke’monte Tayvon Hayes, Isaiah Diontae Lewis and Marlin Lamar Johnson with misdemeanor assault and battery. Warrants for three additional subjects have been obtained but not served, according to a release from Boone Police.

Lewis was a junior wide receiver in 2016 and had 18 catches for 236 yards. Hayes was a sophomore defensive back in 2016 and had 18 tackles. Both players are not currently listed on Appalachian State’s roster.

Johnson was a member of Appalachian State’s team in 2015.

Fuller was stabbed in a fight in a parking lot of an off-campus apartment in the early morning hours of May 4. He had 21 tackles and three sacks in 2016. According to police’s account of the incident in May, the altercation happened in the parking lot of the apartment complex after it started at a bar.
