Riot Games has announced that the North American Challenger Series will be moving to a best-of-3 format for the 2017 Summer Split.

Previously, Challenger Series teams played two best-of-2 matches back-to-back every week. Now, they’ll be playing two best-of-3 matches over the course of two consecutive days.

In the announcement, Riot also laid out the streaming schedule for the matches. Not every game will be streamed, with one match each week being highlighted on Riot’s stream.

Here’s the streaming schedule:

  • June 8: eUnited (EUN) vs. Gold Coin United (GCU)
  • June 15: Delta Fox (DFX) vs. Big Gods Jackals (BIG)
  • JJune 22: Counter Logic Academy (CLA) vs. Tempo Storm (TS)
  • June 29: Tempo Storm (TS) vs. Gold Coin United (GCU)
  • July 13: eUnited (EUN) vs. Big Gods Jackals (BIG)

Riot added, “With the increased interest in NA CS based on a certain stream dream team, we’re looking at ways to bring more games to the broadcast and spin up some additional Challenger content. Stay tuned for more information.”

VODs won’t be released for any of the Challenger Series matches. Instead, Riot will be “providing replays of the games to teams, and working with them to produce their own team content.”
