Here Are the 2019 SAG Award Nominees

The SAG Awards nominations, given by the Screen Actors Guild, or SAG-AFTRA, were announced Wednesday.·Vogue

Pre–awards season continues apace: this morning it’s the 2019 SAG Award nominations, and several of the films, shows, and actors who were named at last Thursday’s Golden Globe nominations received more accolades from the Screen Actors Guild, or SAG-AFTRA, with a few shutouts. The nominees were presented by Crazy Rich Asians star Awkwafina and Orange Is the New Black’s Laverne Cox (also a two-time SAG Award winner).

Would A Star Is Born continue to dominate with more nominations? What about Vice, The Favourite, and Green Book? On the television side, how would the epic battle between Netflix, Amazon Studios, and HBO shake out?

Regarding A Star Is Born: Of course both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga snapped up nominations, as did the stars of Green Book and Vice. Meanwhile, If Beale Street Could Talk was completely shut out. Emily Blunt, on the other hand, is a double nominee for A Quiet Place and Mary Poppins Returns—and her husband, John Krasinski, scored a nomination, too. As for TV, Ozark and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel dominated.

The 25th annual SAG Awards will air Sunday, January 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET on TNT and TBS. A host for the show has as yet not been announced. Check out the full list of 2019 SAG Award nominations below.
