Shares of Ingles Markets Inc. (NASDAQ:IMKTA) rose 0.08% to $38.85 on Monday following the announcement of a quarterly dividend of 16.5 cents per common share. The dividend is in line with the previous payment.
On Oct. 17, Ingles Markets will pay the dividend to shareholders of record as of Oct. 10. The ex-dividend date is Oct. 9.

NASDAQ:GWRS) declined 1.42% to close at $11.84 on Monday after the company announced a monthly dividend of 2.39 cents per common share. The dividend will be paid on Oct. 31 to shareholders of record as of Oct. 17. The ex-dividend date is scheduled for Oct. 16.
Based on Monday's closing price, the distribution produces a forward dividend yield of 2.38% versus the industry median of 3.23% and the S&P 500's yield of 1.88%.
The Phoenix-based water resource management company has paid dividends since May 31, 2016.
