We're less than a month away from the first season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and now that we finally have a trailer, fans are going crazy over what's going to happen in Greendale. While we still don't know exactly what is going to happen during the show's first season, these fans already think they have an idea of what’s to come. Here are the are the best fan theories we've seen so far…

The Show Actually Takes Place in the Past

While Riverdale takes place in present day, some people think that Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will actually take place in the 1960s. According to Reddit user unfathomablepinhead, the comics actually take place in the 1960s, but since the show has been linked to Riverdale, there's a chance it takes place in current times. Other Reddit users agreed that the show looks like it might actually take place in the past, but sgreen88 says that we might not know for sure until it comes out. "Sabrina appears to have much more of a vintage aesthetic than Riverdale, but doesn't quite look period accurate either," they wrote.

A Riverdale Crossover Would Involve a Death

A Riverdale crossover may not be happening this season, but fans are already guessing as to what would need to happen in order for it to work. According to Johne19978, he believes someone on Riverdale will have to die but they would get resurrected in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Sounds a little bit out there, but with all the crazy resurrections that seem to be happening in Greendale, it's definitely possible.

The Spellmans Are Actually Related to Someone on Riverdale

Another big Riverdale crossover possibility might come from a family connection. Tumblr user betty-and-jughead says there's a good chance that Alice Cooper is actually a witch and that she has a possible connection to the Spellmans. "She’s constantly using terms like 'brew' and 'banish' and 'witching hour' and I’m wondering if perhaps she’s the black sheep of the family that doesn’t want to accept her witchcraft lineage and instead decided to shun her family, move away from SouthSide, marry Hal and build a fresh new life for herself," they wrote.

Harvey and Sabrina Will Be Go Against Each Other

While fans of the comics might be expecting this storyline to play out, those who haven't read the series might be surprised to hear that (spoiler alert!) Harvey comes from a line of witch hunters. Whether this will actually happen in the series is unclear, but Twitter user apolausticx pointed out that this might come to light later on.

Harvey might Die in Season One

While we noticed in the trailer that Sabrina didn't sign her name in her coven's book, she might change her mind later on. According to tumblr user ginnyweasleys, there a chance that Harvey might die at the end of season 1 and that'll make her sign her name in the book. We certainly hope that Harvey doesn't die, but with everyone after her, this would make sense.

Thankfully, the wait is almost over and we'll finally see what's true or not for ourselves.
