7-Eleven's New Peeps-Flavored Slurpee Is Here to Ruin Easter

Well, folks, I hate to be the bearer of bad news—but here we are. I’m sad to report that 7-Eleven has teamed up with Peeps to bring this abomination to life.

One Instagram user, @alex_harmon, who spotted the drink at her local store said it tastes like “sour sugar,” which is exactly how we’d expect a marshmallow-flavored slush to taste.

From the photos that are circulating, we can assume there are at least two “flavors” to choose from: white and red.

Why would the fine folks at 7-Eleven opt to create a beverage inspired by the most unpleasant candy item there is? Probably because they want to watch the world burn.

The Peeps Slurpee, the Frankenstein’s monster of the gas station world, is (thank God) a temporary seasonal offering. Presumably, it’ll crawl back into the circle of hell from whence it emerged after Easter is over.

If you’re somehow excited about this news (who hurt you?), you may be interested to learn that Peeps aren’t stopping at Slurpees this year: They also have plans to ruin your coffee and your Froot Loops.

Get them while you can, I guess.
