Netflix Shows Like "Pretty Little Liars"

From Seventeen

If you're obsessed with Pretty Little Liars (and you legit cried when it ended), then odds are you're looking for another addictive show to binge in your downtime.

Well, luckily, it's 2018 and thanks to Netflix, there are like a million shows with all the things you love about Pretty Little Liars right at your fingertips, waiting for you to stream them.

Here are all the shows on Netflix you'll totally love if you're crazy about PLL.

Riverdale

The mysterious murder of Alison DiLaurentis kicks off the nail-biting Pretty Little Liars series and Riverdale can relate. The whole series follows the small, seemingly perfect town of Riverdale after it's rocked by the gruesome murder of the high school's star football player, Jason Blossom. You can catch seasons one and two on the streaming service.

The Vampire Diaries

Take all the elements you love about PLL and add some supernatural stuff to it like vampires, werewolves, and witches, and you pretty much have The Vampire Diaries. Like TVD also has its very own villain that never, ever seems to kick the bucket: Katherine.

How to Get Away With Murder

Considering the Liars are all trying to get away with murder by season seven of PLL, you might be into this law-centric show. The premise: law students who are trying to cover up a murder with the help of their genius law professor.

The Secret Life of an American Teenager

If you take all the murder and mystery out of Pretty Little Liars and just leave all the high school drama, you pretty much have The Secret Life of an American Teenager. It follows the life of a high school student named Amy Juergens whose life gets turned upside down when she becomes pregnant.

Gossip Girl

Gossip Girl is pretty much Pretty Little Liars, only A is a blogger named Gossip Girl and she doesn't just target five high schoolers - she targets all the rich kids of the Upper East Side in New York City. Gossip Girl doesn't murder anyone... unless you count murdering reputations.

Revenge

In Revenge, a stranger named Emily Thorne moves into a mansion in the Hamptons to pursue her mission: destroy everyone who wronged her father as a child. Basically, Revenge is PLL if A were the main character.

The Returned

Have you ever noticed that nobody is truly ever dead and gone in Pretty Little Liars? You think someone died and then they pop up a season later and the only thing dead about them is how dead-set they are on ruining the Liars' lives. *cough* Ali *cough* Well, The Returned is all about a small town that is turned upside down when several people who have been presumed dead for years suddenly reappear, having not aged a day since they died. The Liars can totally relate.

13 Reasons Why

Since there's always so much insane chaos on PLL, all the bullying and real high school issues the Liars face sometimes gets lost in the details. Like PLL, the events of 13 Reasons Why start after the death of a student at Liberty High School, Hannah Baker. She ends up playing a role in her classmates' lives after her death, much like A. But unlike PLL, Hannah is not a villian seeking revenge. She's a bullied teenager seeking to teach a lesson about the real-life consequences of bullying -- something that's glossed over in PLL. You can watch all of season one and two on Netflix!
